You will support us to accelerate our way towards a Microservice-based world, which is supported by DevOps, based on a platform-as-a-service and ‘ruthless automation’. We appreciate your substantiated expertise on technical topics (e.g. event-driven architecture) and your willingness to bring in deep knowledge of concepts and patterns for providing a basis for software construction.
Be a mentor and a guide to our software development teams to support them achieving high quality code for services that meet your specifications and defined requirements.
Embed yourself into an engineering driven working environment to balance feature development and sustainable platform renovation from an architectural point of view.
Here’s a little taste of your challenge:
Ability to get easy into complex structures of grown dependencies and heterogenous software components.
Facilitation of design decisions within the constraints of systems designs, design standards, quality, feasibility, extensibility and maintainability.
Further transformation of a monolithic system to a microservices-based one w/o downtimes
Evaluation and alignment of alternative solutions and trade-offs with your stakeholders.
Handling Security Aspects and help to create a baked-in solution for the upcoming years.

You have experience with conceptual work either as architect or as a software engineer for several years.
