London, April 1, 2011
TomTom Business Solutions, the B2B division of TomTom Group dedicated to commercial vehicle fleets, has appointed Cameron Wells Communications as its retained communications agency for the UK.
The consultancy will provide communications support in a bid to contribute to the (UK&IE) business, in its ambition to outperform a predicted 10 to 20 percent growth for the European fleet management market during 2011.
“With more than 15 percent of commercial vehicle fleets*, and a significantly smaller proportion of sales fleets, currently employing vehicle tracking technology, there is considerable scope for future growth of the UK telematics market,” said Irvin Gray, TomTom Business Solutions' Marketing Manager UK & Ireland.
“TomTom Business Solutions is continually innovating and advancing solutions to help business boost productivity and cut costs. Cameron Wells Communications will help us convey this compelling message to businesses.”
Cameron Wells Communications director Andrea Cameron added: “We are delighted to be working with such an eminent name in the world of transport technology and look forward to a long and rewarding partnership.”
“We will strive to help drive the growth of this global brand, and cement its position as Europe's fastest growing telematics service provider.”
Cameron Wells was recently named Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year for the third year running by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) at the North West Pride Awards.
