TomTom Telematics has won the Image Award 2019, chosen by the trade journal VerkehrsRundschau, in the category Telematics Systems Manufacturer - Independent. With this award, the editorial staff marks the company as one of the best brands in the fields of transport and logistics.
The decision was made via a survey of more than 530 fleet managers from transport and forwarding companies across Germany. Wolfgang Schmid, Sales Director D-A-CH at TomTom Telematics, received the award at the VerkehrsRundschau gala on 7 February 2019 held in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
“We are incredibly proud of the trust that the fleet managers have placed in us,” explained Schmid after the award ceremony. “I would like to thank them on behalf of our entire team. This award is an acknowledgement from the companies that use our WEBFLEET fleet management solution on a daily basis that they find it reliable, effective and valuable. For us, it’s an incentive to continue working on user-friendly, future-proof telematics solutions”.
With the modular and scalable software-as-a-service solution WEBFLEET, companies can optimize the use of their vehicle fleet and use fleet data to make smarter decisions and better serve their customers. WEBFLEET also allows fleet management for mixed fleets. The measured fleet data, e.g. route profiles or working times, can be integrated into company applications via open interfaces.
The VerkehrsRundschau is published weekly and has been informing decision-makers in the logistics sector for more than 60 years about current topics from politics and business, vehicle fleets and IT.
