Amsterdam (September 15, 2022) – Webfleet, Europe's number one telematics provider, will present its new modular solutions at the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2022, which supports transport companies in making informed data-driven decisions to cut fuel costs, improve productivity and road safety.
IAA TRANSPORTATON will be held in Hannover, Germany, from the 20th to the 25th of September 2022.
Taco van der Leij, Vice President Webfleet Europe said: “We're very excited to join IAA Transportation 2022, where we'll demonstrate what Webfleet does best – enabling businesses to optimise their fleet performance and keep trucks on the road, using the digital information from trucks and vehicles. We are proud of the high standards we've been bringing to the market, and to present new innovations for both drivers and fleet managers.”
For the first time, Webfleet is exhibiting together with its parent company Bridgestone to launch Fleetcare, an integrated solution, which is bundling Bridgestone's tyre solutions and Webfleet's fleet management solution designed to fast forward business for fleets.
As a leading telematics provider for truck operators, Webfleet is showcasing new products that help companies to cut fuel costs, improve efficiency, and be safer on the road.
Webfleet launches a new compact PRO driver terminal, a new addition to its PRO range. Like a handheld computer, it is designed to support drivers in their tasks, and like a smartphone, it is built for ease and accessibility. This PRO driver terminal is a complete end-to-end order management solution. Ready for business right out of the box.
Attendees of IAA TRANSPORTATION will be able to see the first demo of the new compact PRO driver terminal, which will be available across Europe in Q4 2022.
At IAA TRANSPORTATION Webfleet will also be presenting its OptiDrive solution tailored for trucks. Webfleet OptiDrive is a complete approach to help drivers adapt to a more “responsible” driving style. It provides valuable insights to both the fleet manager and the driver – delivering direct feedback to drivers before, during and after their trip. Responsible driving helps improve driver safety, lower fuel consumption, maintenance, and insurance premiums, reducing the total costs of vehicle ownership.
Launching in Spring 2023, Cold Chain is a dedicated temperature monitoring solution within Webfleet that supports operators in protecting temperature sensitive products. With real time visibility into temperature status and reports into critical temperature events, operators can meet end customer proof-of-delivery expectations and regulatory standards. High value loads are given extra protection with real-time alerting to breaches in max/min thresholds. Operators can quickly understand the severity and cause of problems, and take action to avoid rejected loads.
Webfleet is expanding its range of modular options for fleet customers. This offers flexibility to fleet owners who only need individual functions, such as video telematics, tachograph manager, or tyre pressure monitoring, but do not require a complete telematics solution. These modules can be used stand alone and can be combined to a tailor-made suite, providing the perfect fit for individual company needs.
Electric mobility will be a key topic at this year's IAA TRANSPORTATION.
“As major cities in Europe rally for decarbonisation, Webfleet strongly supports the electrification of fleets”, said Van der Leij.
“We believe that the value of data plays a key role in the switch to electric vehicles and help transport business to prepare for new governmental and city requirements – and of course to help make the planet greener. The first step will be to support drivers and business to adopt to a new way of operations and planning – that EV is inducing.”
“Webfleet is once again showing extended functions here to support fleets in electrification as well as in the management of mixed and electric fleets. Webfleet has been, and continues to be, a core product and a leader in the German transport industry. We are proud to choose IAA TRANSPORTATION again as an industry leading platform where we will demonstrate and launch our latest innovations.”
At Webfleet's booth, attendees can experience live demonstrations of the new PRO driver terminal, TPMS in combination with Bridgestone tyres, Webfleet video, plus the new vehicle check app and Work App.
This year, Webfleet will be present on two stands at IAA TRANSPORTATION – in Hall 12 at Stand C60 together with Bridgestone, and in hall 25 at stand E51 Webfleet will be presented by the partners Telematik Partner GmbH, Evertz GmbH and NavComm GmbH.
IAA TRANSPORTATION is the world's leading trade fair for mobility, transport, and logistics. As an important platform for the industry, industry leaders present technical innovations and emission-free mobility solutions that ensure road safety, transport efficiency and ecological sustainability. It takes place every two years in Hanover and is aimed at decision-makers in the fleet, OEM, and mobility sectors.
