Amsterdam, Netherlands - 18 January, 2023 — Based on its recent analysis of the fleet telematics market, Frost & Sullivan has recognised Webfleet, as part of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, with the 2022 European Commercial Fleet Telematics Company of the Year Award.
The global team of experts awarded Webfleet for the second time in a row for maintaining its leading position in the telematics industry by consistently developing innovative fleet solutions that address new challenges and opportunities in a dynamic environment. The company’s electric vehicle solutions were specifically highlighted, as well as new app solutions that support professional drivers.
The company further strengthened its EV portfolio this year to more actively support businesses on their fleet electrification journey. Webfleet’s EV fleet management solution is designed to help businesses from planning the switch and deploying EVs to monitoring their usage, managing charging, reducing running costs and everything else that is needed to get the full value from going electric.
In 2022, Webfleet launched its Work App, which empowers drivers to complete jobs easily and efficiently with nothing more than their Android mobile devices. Fleet managers and their drivers have access to a wide range of workforce management features without the need for any additional hardware.
The company also introduced its newest compact Driver Terminal, the PRO M, which is fully integrated with Webfleet’s order management platform, providing a complete end-to-end solution for all fleets, especially those involved in activities such as delivery, maintenance, installation and repair.
The expert panel applauded the company’s ongoing commitment to shape a sustainable future of mobility and lowering its own carbon dioxide footprint. By partnering with NGO Justdiggit, Webfleets’ Green Your Fleet platform enables customers to estimate their fleet's carbon emissions and determine actions to make a positive climate impact.
Commenting on the award John Sisemore, Best Practices Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan, said, “Through unceasing innovation and hard work, Webfleet has become one of the biggest telematics solutions globally and is clearly leading in this space.”
“We are recognising Webfleet for its strong leadership focus that incorporates client-centric strategies and exemplifies best practice implementation. The company remains a trusted partner, earning a reputation for offering the overall best in the commercial vehicle telematics industry.”
Taco van der Leij, Vice President of Webfleet Europe added: “We are proud to receive the Frost & Sullivan award again, which reinforces our commitment to constant innovation and development.”
“A huge thank you to all our employees, customers and partners, who contribute every day to the goal of shaping a sustainable future of mobility with data-driven solutions.”
Each year, Frost & Sullivan reserves the Company of the Year Award for companies at the forefront of innovation and growth in their respective industries. The award is its top honour and recognises the market participant that exemplifies visionary innovation, market-leading performance and unmatched customer care.
