TomTom Business Solutions has extended its localised reseller service into the West of Ireland through a partnership with long established Mayo-based technology experts C&C Cellular.
TomTom Business Solutions has a proven track record delivering affordable vehicle management technology that helps make companies more efficient, through a network that spans the globe. Its extension across Ireland will see the development of local businesses becoming experts in a series of products and services, which will improve cost savings for firms that run fleet vehicles.
Since launching into Ireland earlier this year, TomTom Business Solutions has added to its network of vehicle management experts, all of whom are locally based companies like Brendan Chambers' C&C Cellular.
Philip Bailie, Account Manager, TomTom Ireland said: ‘Its a significant step forward for TomTom Business Solutions to have a local reseller, C&C Cellular, in the West of Ireland who can help specifically tailor our technology solutions to the needs of local businesses, enabling them to reduce their costs, become more efficient and keep their staff safe on the roads’
Brendan Chambers, founder of C&C Cellular, which is headquartered in Westport, Co. Mayo, is looking forward to working with TomTom Business Solutions and offering his existing and potential business clients world leading fleet management technology. C&C Cellular is one of the longest established mobile phone retailers with 25 years experience and currently has nine stores located in Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon.
He added: ‘TomTom is synonymous with efficient driving and cost savings and our team is poised to bring this technology to local businesses who can benefit from using this technology. Our knowledge of the local market means that we are well positioned to effectively develop TomTom Business Solutions within Western counties and further afiel’.
In Ireland around 30% of companies with vehicle fleets currently use GPS tracking technology. This number is set to increase significantly as more companies with fleets see an immediate return on investment when they use this type of technology, which enables them to manage their vehicles much more cost effectively.
TomTom has spent many years developing specialist technology, specifically for business, that delivers information which increases the visibility of what happens out on the road, which has a direct impact on business efficiency. This enables businesses to provide a better service, increase productivity, generate more profit and ensure sustainability.
