Bee–Green Mobility Sharing, a car-sharing company that works in Naples, Milan and Rome, has implemented TomTom Telematics’ WEBFLEET platform to create an innovative, integrated, solution to optimize its fleet.
Bee–Green Mobility Sharing, which has a fleet of 230 electric quadricycles, together with mobility projects specialist Be Smart, identified the need to develop an integrated solution to address daily operational problems.
TomTom Telematics’ SaaS platform WEBFLEET provided the solution, enabling vehicles to be tracked, information to be relayed on vehicle battery levels, activating vehicles when trips start and offering a navigation service along with efficient, accurate and quick customer care.
‘The solution developed by Be Smart, thanks to the integration opportunities available in TomTom WEBFLEET, has made Bee–Green Mobility Sharing one of the most efficient, safe and reliable players in the market’ said Mario Cuollo Conforti, Managing Director, Be Smart.
‘TomTom’s APIs, LINK.connect and WEBFLEET .connect, allowed us to realise a big project that successfully involves all elements of our service in one unique system. WEBFLEET has become the “live” window on Bee’s 230 vehicles’
The benefits gained as a result of the integration are significant. Firstly, the customer care team, through the WEBFLEET platform, can closely monitor real-time vehicle activity allowing them to provide quick and efficient answers to user’s requests.
Secondly, the risk of lost vehicles has been eliminated. If a user leaves a vehicle in an inappropriate place, they are unable to finish the trip and will continue to incur billing charges. Also fines may be immediately assigned to the user that was in charge of the vehicle at the time of the infringement thanks to historical reports.
‘The collaboration with Be Smart is an outstanding example of the great integration potential offered by WEBFLEET’ said Marco Federzoni, Sales Director Italy TomTom Telematics. ‘Companies can find the answer to all their fleet management needs in WEBFLEET’
