Bridgestone and Webfleet Solutions will be teaming up to tread new ground at the Road Transport Expo 2022, where fuel saving tyre technologies, world-leading telematics solutions and the launch of a revolutionary fleet management solution will all be brought to life.
The eagerly anticipated inaugural show will take place at NAEC Stoneleigh from June 30 to July 2, and is seen as the perfect event for Bridgestone and Webfleet Solutions to showcase its technologies, with everything geared towards HGVs and commercial fleets.
Bridgestone will take the opportunity to launch its eagerly anticipated integrated solution called Fleetcare, which delivers enhanced efficiency and reduced operating costs to fleets.
Fleetcare combines Bridgestone's best-in-class tyre range and tyre management solutions with fleet management solutions from Webfleet, Europe's number one telematics solution for fleets. It offers both tyre and fleet management solutions with integrated and connected data and reporting available under one agreement and delivered by one single mobility partner. Thanks to the use of combined tyre and vehicle data, Fleetcare provides smarter and more predictive maintenance solutions, resulting in optimised performance and increased convenience. Fleetcare also delivers unique business benefits through IoT and data driven insights and services. It is developed for managers of commercial fleets who are looking for a comprehensive and modular solution package that adds cost control and automation into their daily work, enabling better decision making.
Flagship tyres to be brought to life will be the Ecopia H002 and the Duravis R002, while attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about WEBFLEET's award-winning fleet management features.
The Ecopia H002 is a fuel efficient tyre engineered to help long haul fleet operations cut their operational costs and CO2 emissions, while the Duravis R002 is designed to help fleets lower their operational costs by significantly reducing cost per kilometre through outstanding wear performance and optimised fuel efficiency. Designed for the versatility segment, the tyres are available to all types of on-road fleet operation and deliver outstanding wet grip.
Both products are fully in line with demanding EU legislations, notably in terms of CO2 emissions and noise and are traceable with electronic tagging system RFID (radio-frequency identification), adding value to customers looking to benefit from connectivity and predictive maintenance on the roads.
Bridgestone's Commercial Business Unit Director David Almazán said: ‘Road Transport Expo 2022 is an event we're all extremely excited to attend, as it represents the perfect platform to demonstrate how our advanced technologies can help fleets to drive efficiencies, realise cost-savings, reduce their carbon footprints and raise the bar in service delivery.’
‘We've already undertaken a lot of work to ensure we're making the best first impression and we can't wait to meet so many company owners, transport managers and HGV drivers.’
Bridgestone's tyres will dovetail with Webfleet Solutions' telematics provision, which maximises productivity and minimises total cost of ownership. It is in this regard that Bridgestone will state its case as a genuine mobility solutions pioneer.
Webfleet Solutions will demonstrate how transport processes can be streamlined with seamlessly connected systems, including integrations with transport management systems, on-board cameras and mileage, route optimisation and HGV specific navigation.
Attendees can also learn about the latest enhanced WEBFLEET features for the transport sector, with experts on hand to explain Asset Tracking, which gives companies visibility over the position and usage of their powered assets, and Tachoshare, a remote download and archiving module that enables users to share data directly with their analysis software.
‘Telematics continues to take centre stage for transport operators looking for smarter ways of working, with the latest digital developments promising ever greater efficiency gains’, said Beverley Wise, Regional Director UK & Ireland, Webfleet Solutions. ‘From camera integrations and VOSA-compliant vehicle checks to improved routing and LCVelectrification signposting, we offer powerful solutions to help transport companies drive safer and greener.’
